Both particles P and R are present in the nucleus of the atom.

They are the proton and the neutron, but I can't remember right now which one of those has slightly more mass than the other one.

Particle Q is the electron. It takes about 1,850 electron masses to make one proton or neutron mass, and the electron is not in the nucleus.
