A person is 1.9 m tall. Where should he place the top of a mirror on the wall so he can see the top of his head? Assume his eyes are 5.1 cm below the top of his head. Find a minimal vertical distance from the level of the person’s eyes to the top of the mirror.

If We draw a diagram with him on one side of the mirror and his image on the another side of mirror,draw a straight line from his eyes to the image of the top of his head as it passes the mirror half way to the image.

So that the difference between the height of his eyes and the top of the mirror must also be equal to the distance from the top of the mirror to the top of his images.
