The energy used by living things comes from the Sun.

I'm pretty sure there's no "almost" about it. I think it's true of ALL the energy used by living things.

Answer:

the Sun used by plants

Step-by-step explanation:

plants use photosynthesis to get their energy from the sun, they are at the bottom of the food chain most of the time. animals eat the plants and predators eat the animals that eat the plants. it all starts with solar energy, and the lower down the chain you go, the more energy something has. the sun is technically the lowest having the most energy and that plants "eat"
