The changes I think journalists should make to obtain their information should be the resources they use to obtain their information and that they verify it before publishing or using it, and they do a deeper search of the subject which they are going to transmit before choosing something specific.

Most of the information most journalist use in their research are audience driven. In most cases the journalist can't know much unless someone from the audience who was available during the event described what happened. What every journalist must do even though they get their information from the audience is to ensure they verify the source and validity of the information before sharing them on their journals, also they should do more research works on knowing why and how such situation happened, this makes their work rich and not just driven alone by what they get from the masses
