Answer and Step-by-step explanation:

1.
x1=-9

2.
x2=-4

Horizontal translation are :

we know that to graph
y = f (x + h), we have to move the graph of
units to the left.

Then we'll get it as :

g (x + 5) = (x + 5) 2 + 3 (x + 5) - 4

Now, we have to re-write this, which gives us :

f (x) = x ^ 2 + 10x + 25 + 3x + 15 - 4

f (x) = x ^ 2 + 13x + 36

Now, we're going to equaling the zero we have :

x ^ 2 + 13x + 36 = 0

Now, we have to look for the roots of the polynomials :

(x + 9) (x + 4) = 0

x1 = -9

x2 = -4
