Answer: 210

Explanation:

Given : The number of flags available = 7

The number of flags required = 3

Since for the arrangement of flags , the order matters.

So we apply permutation to find the number of possible signals.

The number of possible signals of 7 flags taking 3 at a time is given by :-


^7P_3=(7!)/((7-3)!)=(7*6*5*4!)/(4!)=210

Hence, the number of possible signals of 7 flags taking 3 at a time is 210
