Use PEMDAS

P= parenthesis

E= exponents

M= multiplication

A= addition

S= subtraction

1). 4 /2+5-3

divide 4 by 2

2) 3+5*8/2

multiply 5 and 8 together

3) 3*2+7

= 6+7

= 13
