Answer:

a) Phosphorylation may be defined as the process of addition of a chemical phosphate group PO3- on the organic groups. The enzyme kinase are used for the phosphorylation process.

b) The phosphorylation change the function of a molecules as the phosphorylation results in the activation of a particular molecule. This process is used for the protein-protein interaction.

c) The phosphorylation process induces the enzyme cascade pathway in the process of signal transduction. The phosphorylation activates the catalytic sites and may also activates the messenger molecule.
