An endocrine gland is secretes hormones while an exocrine gland secretes enzymes. An endocrine glands secretes hormones into the blood through which it is passed into the entire body. While an exocrine glands secretes enzymes into the ducts in order to target large tissues.

Example of exocrine glands – Sweat glands, salivary gland, pancreatic gland etc.

Example of endocrine glands – Adrenal gland, pancreatic gland etc.
