A function is said to be even

f(-x)=f(x)

and odd function ,if

f(-x)= -f(x)

The function cuts x axis at two points which are equal and opposite.Means more or less this function will be a function with even power of x.

So, for that function,f(-x)=f(x)

So,the graph of this function represents an Even Function.
