The 1920s, also know as the roaring 1920s, were a decade of cultural and economic change that led to an increase in personal freedoms and increase wealth. The nickname for the decade was "The Jazz Age" because of the impact that the culture of jazz bands and dancers had on the era. The prohibition laws also impacted this era.
