Finding the slope using two points:

The formula for slope is

(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

In this case...

(3, 7) and (-1, 4)

y_(2) =4\\y_(1) =7\\x_(2) =-1\\x_(1) =3

^^^Plug these numbers into the formula for slope...

(4-7)/(-1 - 3)

(-3)/(-4)

C.
(3)/(4)

^^^This is your slope

Hope this helped!
