The current government has learned a lot of insights from past religion conflicts, thus giving people the opportunity of choosing their desired faith. Therefore the affairs of the state should not influence the religion. Faith and politics as should never be mixed because this leads to conflicts.

The best thing that the government can do is to prioritize religion and only allow on religious matters in church and political issues to be practiced outside to avoid discrimination in the church.

Answer:

The balance between different freedoms is a delicate problem. Separation of State and Church helps a society reach a level of religious respect and tolerance, that protects citizens' freedom of religion. In turn, freedom of religion means that no person can be discriminated for religious reasons. However, there are two problems: separation of Church and state means that education does not include religious education. Which certain groups may see as discrimination. On the other hand, a religious belief may contain ideas that discriminate against other collectives and communities, like the LGTB+ community. In those cases, respecting religious beliefs clashes directly with the struggle against discrimination.
