a standard Deck of cards has 52 cards. there are 4 5s because there are 4 kinds of cards (spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs). therefore, the theoretical probability of choosing a 5 is 4/52 or 1/13

Answer:
(2)/(13)

Explanation:

The total number of cards in a standard deck of playing cards. = 52

The number of categories of cards (Hearts , club , spade , diamond) = 4

Card with multiple of 5 =5 , 10

Total cards with multiple of 5 =
2*4=8

Now, the theoretical probability of choosing a multiple of 5 from a standard deck of playing cards is given by :-

(8)/(52)=(2)/(13)
