If each exterior angle of a polygon is 45 degrees, what is the sum of the interior angles?

hint: what do we need to know to find the sum of the interior angles of a triangle? what can we determine about a polygon from knowing the measure of each of its exterior angles

Answer:

1080 degrees.

Explanation:

The sum of the exterior angles of all polygons add up to 360 degrees

So this polygon has 360 / 45 = 8 sides and 8 interior angles.

Each interior angle = 180 - 45 = 135 degrees ( adjacent angles).

So the sum of the interior angles = 8 *135 = 1080 degrees.
