Please help me with this☺️

1. What is the perimeter of a triangle with sides that measure 3 3/6 cm, 9 1/8 cm and 6 cm, respectively?

Answer:

The perimeter of the triangle is P=a+b+c

where a, b and c are sides of the triangle.

a=3 3/6 cm

b=9 1/8 cm

c=6 cm

Now a=21/6 cm, b=73/8 cm, c=6 cm

We have to take LCM in order to make the denominator same.

Now, the LCM is 48

21*8/6*8 + 73*6/8*6 + 6*48/48

168/48 + 438/48 + 288/48

= 894/48 cm
