Explanation:

First, isolate the y in both functions. Then identify what each function is and how they relate. Are they linear, quadratic, cubic, etc.? Are they perpendicular or parallel to each other at all? Maybe "classifying" also includes where they intersect?

At a glance the two don't seem to have anything special in common except a point probably. They're just some linear functions sharing a plot. But that is just from a glance, so please do double check to see if they have any special relationships.
