Answer:

See below

Explanation:

Given

  • rv=1/c+r

Solving for c

  • Its not clear what the denominator is: c or c+r so doing both

Denominator is c:

  • rv = 1/c + r
  • 1/c = rv - r
  • c = 1/(rv - r)

Denominator is c + r:

  • rv = 1/(c + r)
  • rv(c + r) = 1
  • rvc + r²v = 1
  • rvc = 1 - r²v
  • c = (1 - r²v)/rv

or more simplified

  • c = 1/rv - r

Note. If you know the answer it should help how to get it
