Finding the slope using two points:

The formula for slope is

(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

In this case...

y_(2) =7\\y_(1) =-2\\x_(2) =-6\\x_(1) =-7

^^^Plug these numbers into the formula for slope...

(7-(-2))/(-6 - (-7))

(9)/(1)

OR

9

^^^This is your slope

Hope this helped!
