Explanation:

Let the number of days at first Terry is reading be 'x'.

Number of pages she read per day at first = 75

Number of pages she read during the last 6 days = 690.

According to question, she planned

number of pages per day = 90

So, our equation becomes,


90(x+6)=75x+690\\\\90x+540=75x+690\\\\90x-75x=690-540\\\\15x=150\\\\x=(150)/(15)=10

So, the total number of days in all to complete the assignment on time is 10+6=16 days.

Hence, option 'B' is correct.
