Using the red diamond, the light blue triangle, the green circle, and the yellow diamond, the equation can be best answered like this: y = (10/9)x + 55

I drew a line through those points, and I landed on 55 on y-axis
I then used Rise/Run to calculate the slope. The yellow diamond is (71.5, 70) so starting at (58, 55), I go up 15 units and ended at (58, 70).
I then went 13.5 units to the right and ended at (71.5, 70)

Since we went up 15 and 13.5 to the right, we divide 15 by 13.5 and get (10/9) as the answer.

(10/9) is our slope and 55 is our y-intercept so we plug in the numbers into the equation and get the answer: y = (10/9)x + 55

This is the best answer I could get.

Answer:

A line of best fit is the line which passes through all the points in the plane, or few points or none of the points lying in the plane.

There are 9 points in the plane, in which Line A passes through 5 points and line B passes through 2 points and Line C passes through 3 points.

So, considering the line , that is line A as line of best fit.

Points through which we consider to draw line of best fit is Point (60,61), and Point (67,68).

Equation of line passing through two points is given by

(y-61)/(x-60)=(68-61)/(67-60)\\\\y-61=x-60\\\\x-y+1=0

Using the formula

(y-y_(1))/(x-x_(1))=(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

So, equation of line of best fit is

x-y+1=0
