5-3(4+6)
distribute -3 into 4 and 6
5-12-18
now just add and subtract them all up
5-12= -7-18= 25
25 is the answer to the second equation

(5-3)^2/8

(2)^2/8

2*2/8

4/8

= 1/2

5-3(4+6)= 5-12-18= -7-18= -25

Answers:

(5-3)^2/8= 1/2

5-3(4+6) = -25
