Put x =2,

p(2) = 6(2)^4 + 4(2)^3 – 3(2)^2 + 8(2) + 15

p(2) = 6(16)+4(8)-3(4)+8(2)+15

p(2) = 96+32-12+16+15

p(2) = 147

Now put x = 4

p(4) = 6(4)^4 + 4(4)^3 – 3(4)^2 + 8(4) + 15

p(4) = 6(256)+4(64)-3(16)+8(4)+15

p(4) = 1536+256-48+32+15

p(4) = 1791
