Answer:

Odds for are 1 to 1.

Odds against are 1 to 1.

Explanation:

There are 6 numbers on a fair die so the probability of getting a 4, 2 or a 3 is 3/6 = 1/2.

So the odds for the event are 1 to 1.

The odds against is also 1 to 1 because the probability of getting one of the other 3 numbers is 1/2.

The probability of rolling a fair die and getting a 2, a 4, a 6 or a 3 is given by

Therefore, the odds for the event rolling a fair die and getting a 2, a 4, a 6, or a 3 is 2/3 and the odds against is 1 - 2/3 = 1/3
