A box of chocolates contains 2 1/3 ounces of fruit crèmes, and the rest are caramels. If the box weighs 8 5/6 ounces, how many ounces of caramels are there?

The answer is A. You have to add the weight of both chocolates to find the total weight of the box. (Fruit Crèmes + Caramels = 8 5/6 ounces).

You could also subtract to find the answer. (Total weight - Fruit Crèmes = Caramels).

I don’t know if you need the weight of the caramels but it is 6 1/2 ounces.
