Answer:

Ecological succession can defined as the long term progression of the biological community that takes place in an area.

It includes three steps:

Primary succession: Primary succession can be defined as the area which was devoid of life and now organism colonize there.The first organism to grow there are mosses, algae, et cetera.

Secondary Succession: Secondary succession can be defined as the area where established community is replaced by a different types of animals and plants.

Intermediate stage: The stage which is continuously developing by the never ending growth of plants and animals there.

Climax community: The final and stable community of plants and animal restricted in that area only.
