Thus the provision consumed in 13 days = 13 x 1500x

Remaining Provision = Total Provision – consumed provision

Now 660 men were added , Hence total strength will be 1500+660 = 2160

Provision consumed in one day = 2160x

Provision left = 52500x

Hence number of days for which provision can run

`= (52500x)/(2160x)`

=24.30 days

Hence the provison will end for 24.30 more days
