To the nearest whole number, how many months could a person eat at this restaurant without having to order the same meal twice? (Assume 30 days per month.)

Answer:

Answer is - B) 27

Explanation:

Total choices can be found as :

Either a soup or salad from 4 choices : 4

An entree from 5 offerings : 5

Two side dishes from 5 options : 5C2 =
(5*4*3*2*1)/(2*1*3*2*1)

= 10

One of 4 dessert cakes : 4

So, total choices become :
4*5*10*4=800

And given there are 30 days in the month, so it becomes:

(800)/(30)= 26.67 ≈ 27
