x = 10, y = 13

Explanation:

Because EYD is 70, then FEY is also 70. Both triangles are identical.

This means:

45 + 70 + 7x - 5 = 180

7x = 70

x = 10

EFY and EDY are identical and this means:

7x - 5 = 5y

7*10 - 5 = 5y

5y = 65

y = 13
