Answer : The volume of stock solution will be, 215 ml

Solution :

According to the neutralization law,

M_1V_1=M_2V_2

where,

M_1 = molarity of HCl solution = 0.75 M

V_1 = volume of HCl solution = 575 ml

M_2 = molarity of stock solution = 2.0 M

V_2 = volume of stock solution = ?

Now put all the given values in the above law, we get the volume of stock solution.

(0.75M)* (575ml)=(2.0M)* V_2

V_2=215ml

Therefore, the volume of stock solution will be, 215 ml
