we have to find the degree of freedom of this hypothesis

we know that degree of freedom of hypothesis is given by
n_1+n_2-2

so by using this formula

degree of freedom of hypothesis =
n_1+n_2-2=12+12-2=22

so the degree of freedom of hypothesis will be 22
