Yes, one perspective can be much better than another. A certain perspective can be seen as visionary, morally correct, or scientifically factual. Compared to another perspective of the same topic, which could be seen as morally horrid or totally false. For example, Alfred Wegener’s perspective (theory) on Pangea and plate tectonics was often disregarded as fiction. Today, his perspective is seen as totally factual and those who disagreed with him, unreliable. The fact that it took years for Wegener’s theory to be seen as fact is proof, though, that what we see to be a better perspective changes over time. What we believe to be a better perspective is sometimes heavily influenced. For example, native Americans were forced to believe in and practice Christianity, leaving their old customs behind. As years passed, their religious culture faded away and their families only knew Christianity to be true.
In summation, one perspective can be better than the other, but because mankind’s mind is often changing, what is seen as better changes a lot too.
