It becomes 3+4=7 because the negative in front of the parentheses can be automatically changed into a negative 1 making the question: 3-1(-4)=7, so then you have to remove -4 from the parentheses. Multiply -1 with -4, this gives you a positive answer. So it’ll end up being 3+4=7. I hope this helps anyone!
