Answer:

original speed = 32 km/h

Explanation:

The distance, d, is equal for both cars.

Original speed of both cars = s.

New speed of first car: s + 1

New speed of second car: s - 10

Time for first car = 2

Time for second car = 3

speed = distance/time

distance = speed × time

d = st

First car:

d = st

d = (s + 1) × 2

Second car:

d = st

d = (s - 10) × 3

The distances are equal.

2(s + 1) = 3(s - 10)

2s + 2 = 3s - 30

-s = -32

s = 32

Original speed = 32 km/h
