Please help, I'm timed! What is the value of (2/3)^-4?

(2/3)^-4
when power is negative, numerator becomes denominator and vice versa, ie. reciprocal is taken and power is deduced to positive if negative and vice versa
(This was written because it is very important to learn this concept, even I was confused for ages before I was taught)
(3/2)^4=81/16(Ans)

To solve, we must simplify this.

(2/3)^-4 -> This is the original form

(3/2)^4 -> To get rid of the negative sign, you flip 2/3

3/2·3/2·3/2·3/2 -> The same thing as (3/2)^4

3^4/2^4 -> Again, the same thing

81/16 is the answer.
