You are the Vice-President of Operations and Organizational Development. Your organization is undergoing various changes. Which approach would you use to minimize resistance to change? How could this approach increase and decrease resistance to change?

Answer: Communication approach

Explanation: Usually the employees resist change for various reasons like fear of loosing the job or superiority they enjoy in the job but most of the time it is found that the core problem is that they don't fully understand the change that is going to happen.

As the vice president, I will take full responsibility to make my employees understand what changes are coming in and how they are going to affect their jobs. I will also make provisions for their feedback, suggestions or complaints.

By communicating the aspects of changes and asking for their suggestions employees will feel participated in the change program and i might help them accepting the change.
