How to convert (x+6)(x-2) to standard form

The standard form is ax² + bx + c = 0

To convert it in standard form, multiply it.

(x+6)(x-2)

x² - 2x +6x -12

x² + 4x -12 = 0

Now this is in the standard form where,

a = 1

b = 4

c = -12
