a. (Is a asking for the distance? If so then this is your answer)

2*square root of 5

This distance formula is:

Square root of (x1 - x2)^2 + (y1 + y2)^2

After substituting numbers:

Square root of (-2 + 4)^2 + (10 - 6)^2
Square root of (2)^2 + (4)^2
Square root of 4+16
Square root of 20

That can be simplified because 4*5 is 20 and 4 is a perfect square. The simplified answer is

=5*square root of 2

b. (-3, 8)

Midpoint formula:

[ (x1 + x2)/2 , (y1 + y2)/2 ]

After substituting numbers:

[ (-2 - 4)/2 , (10 + 6)/2 ]
[ -6/2 , 16/2 ]
=(-3, 8)

c. 2

Slope formula:

y1 - y2 / x1 - x2

After substituting numbers:

10 - 6 / -2 + 4
4 / 2
=2

~~hope this helps~~
