1) 2 KClO₃ → 2 KCl + 3 O₂ decomposition

2) 2 Na + O₂ → Na₂O₂ direct combination

3) 2 KI + Pb(NO₃)₂ → 2 KNO₃ + PbI₂ double displacement

4) Cu + 2 AgNO₃ → Cu(NO₃)₂ + 2 Ag single displacement

5) C₃H₈ + 5 O₂ → 3 CO₂ + 4 H₂O + heat combustion

6) Zn + 2HCl → ZnCl₂ + H₂ single displacement

decomposition reaction - when you heat a compound (for a certain amount of time and temperature) it will transform in simpler substances

direct combination - simpler elements will react to each other to form a chemical compound

double replacement - it is a reaction of the following type

AB + CD → AC + BD

single replacement - it is a reaction of the following type

A + BC → B + AC

combustion - when substances (usually organic compounds like hydrocarbons) react with oxygen forming oxides and heat
