A boat traveled 432 miles downstream and back. The trip downstream took 12 hours. The trip back took 24 hours. What is the speed of the boat in still water? What is the speed of the current?

speed of the boat in still water would be (432/12=36) 36mph and the speed of the current should be (432/24=18) 18mph
