Explanation:

Circumference is equal to

C =2*pi*r where r is the radius

16 pi = 2 * pi *r

Divide each side by 2 pi

16pi/2pi = 2pir/2pi

8 = r

The radius is 8

To find the area, we use

=pi (8)^2

= 64 pi
