If someone were to have had a family member die, I think the best thing for them would be to receive sympathy and empathy. They would want someone there for them in a time like this and avoiding them wont help, but telling them to get over it is worse because you cant just get over something that recently happened and is a situation like this. Explaining death is a part of life wont really help either because its just another way of telling them to get over it tbh. Hope this helps if your taking health
