Answer:

y+5 = -1/2(x+3)

Explanation:

y - 4 = 2(x-6)

This is in point slope form (y-y1) = m(x-x1)

so the slope is 2

We want a line perpendicular so we take the negative reciprocal

m perpendicular is -(1/2)

The new slope is -1/2

We have a slope and a point, so we can use point slope form

(y-y1) = m(x-x1)

y--5 = -1/2(x--3)

y+5 = -1/2(x+3)
