John ran around a rectangular field 180 m long and 60 m wide 6 times
in 12 minutes. Find his speed in m/min.

First we have to find the perimeter.

That can be accomplished by the following equation:

P=180+180+60+60

P=480

He ran this distance 6 times which equals 2880 m.

Divde this by 12 to get the answer:

2880/12
