The function isn't even nor odd with respect to the y axis, because you can't create symmetry line for it around the y axis. However, it is symmetrical with respect to the x axis, because you can divide the function in 2 equal portions if you cut from the x axis. It's axis of symmetry is the x axis.

It's not a one-to-one function because the value of x=2 doesn't have an unique y value related to it, it has infinite y values related to the same x value.
