Why aren’t blueberries blue?

Answer: Blueberries have anthocyanins, water-soluble vacuolar pigments. Depending on their pH, they can appear in colors such as red,purple; etc. Because anthocynanins absorb UV light, they have this dark blue/purple color.

Why aren’t blueberries blue?
