2.5(6x-4) = 10 + 4 (1.5+0.5x)

First of all we will have to solve the parenthesis

(2.5)(6x)-(2.5)(4) = 10 + (4)(1.5)+(4)(0.5x)

15x-10 = 10+6+2x

We have to isolate x so that we can find its value

15x-10 = 16+2x

15x = 16+2x+10

15x-2x = 26

13x = 26

13x/13 = 26/13

x = 2 ..
