Answer:

The values of x are 0 and 4

Explanation:

we have

f(x)=x^(2)-2x-4 ------> equation A

g(x)=2x-4 ----> equation B

To find the values of x when f(x) and g(x) intersect

equate f(x) and g(x)

f(x)=g(x)

x^(2)-2x-4=2x-4

x^(2)-2x-4-2x+4=0

x^(2)-4x=0

Factor x

x(x-4)=0

The solutions are

x=0 and x=4
