So ADE is 84°.

And, the sum of the angles of a triangle is 180°. So AED will be equal to 180-(38 + 84),which is 58°

The angles of a triangle add to 180 degrees

<A + <ADE + <AED = 180

36 + 84+ <AED = 180

Combine like terms

120 + <AED = 180

Subtract 120 from each side

120-120 +<AED = 180-120

<AED = 60
