Answer:

You take the x+2 (2x) then the x+3 (3x) then add them because they are like terms. (5) You didnt cancel out the 2x because its on the left side, leaving you with 2 numbers, 2x and 5. They are no longer like terms because there is no x attached to the 5. so this all leaves you with 2x+5 as the denominator.
